Remote Site and Equipment Management Magazine is pleased to announce the 2008 Innova Awards. These awards are designed to recognize companies that are striving for excellence and are achieving technology breakthroughs.

The Innova Award will be giving out for five catagories: Remote Monitoring/SCADA, Remote Networking, Onsite Power, Security, and one for the most Outstanding Application of Remote Technology in 2008. Each submission will be voted on by peers in the industry and winners will be announced at the Remote 2008 Conference and Expo.

Note: All submissions must be for product or applications introduced or completed in 2008.

Remote Monitoring/SCADA
This award goes to the Remote Monitoring/SCADA product that shows the most innovation and cutting edge monitoring technology.

Remote Networking
This award goes to the most revolutionary Remote Networking product designed and introduced in 2008.

Onsite Power
This award goes to the Onsite Power technology that has the most promise of impacting/improving the back-up, onsite, and stand-by power industry.

Security
This award goes to the most innovative and cutting edge remote site security product or system.

Outstanding Application
This award goes to the remote technology user/provider that has successfully implemented advanced technology/processes at thier installation. The award is not industry specific, and the top four applications will be invited to speak at a Remote 2008 Conference and Expo panel session!

Submission Guidelines

Nominations will be accepted only electronically by email. Send your nomination in the body of your email letter and include supporting material as attachments. Submit to Nick Depperschmidt: nickd@infowebcom.com.

The Nomination: The total length of each nomination should be a maximum of 1,000 words. It should include:
- Award category for which it should be considered
- A detailed description on product/technology or application and why it should be considered for an Innova Award. You may want to include:
• why is this advancement important and how is it different than what is currently available
• who will benefit
• what impact will it have on the industry
- Contact information: name, title, company, address, office phone & fax, email address, and web site.

All nominations must be received by August 18, 2008. Winners will be announced at the Remote 2008 Conference and Expo, November 5-6 in Atlanta, and featured in the December/January 2008 issue of Remote Site and Equipment Management Magazine.
