Founded in 1986, Southwest PV Systems, Inc. (SWPV) specializes in solar electric systems for Telecommunications, Instrumentation, SCADA, NAVAIDS, Street Lighting, Area Lighting, Sign Lighting, Wind Power, Rural/Remote Electrification, Solar Traffic Flashers (Pedestrian Crossings, School Zones, Fire Stations, Highway Overpasses, Hospital Zones, Traffic Intersection Controls) and Solar Water Pumping applications. We have an experienced project management staff available for systems design, technical advice, and system installations. We pride ourselves on providing world class & customer service. The various types of solar modules we carry range from 1 to 160 watts. Mono-crystalline, polycrystalline, and thin film silicon amorphous are the three module technologies we offer. Our company also handles a vast array of batteries. We supply large industrial battery banks, as well as batteries for small applications. The three main types of batteries we carry are a sealed lead acid (SLA), gel, and absorbed glass mat (AGM). Other specialty batteries are available upon request. Voltage regulators are also needed to complete a solar system. We offer several different charge controllers based on the configuration of the system. Many different amperage ratings are available.
